        Verdict

        Plenty of these are open to improvement and this is not a race to be dogmatic about. Market moves for any of: Fayrz Please, Sir Galahad or Smart Danny should not be dismissed out of hand as all are open to plenty of improvement. Whereas Paul Blockley is obviously keen on securing this prize for at least one of his owners and Blue Empire could the pick his quartet of runners this afternoon. However, marginal preference is for Generous Gesture, who shaped up nicely in her three outings last season. Michael Bell does not waste his visits to the racecourse at this time of the season and this daughter of Fasilyev is the appeals as one that will not be messed about with regarding an outing such as this. The three-year-old, a 70,000gns purchase, is very stoutly-bred and should be seen to good effect over further in time. However, she will only need to run to the level of her juvenile form to come out on top here and she is given the vote in the absence of a solid guide from the betting ring.
