      Verdict

      This looks a trappy little heat in which nothing makes strong appeal. All have retained maiden status so far but FLY LIGHTLY appeals as the contender most open to improvement after just three starts, the most recent of which saw him go down by just a head in an ordinary Lingfield novice stakes. Tigray wasn't disgraced when second of four last time and his yard has an excellent time of things here while Archies Lad has been fairly consistent at a modest level. However, the best of Mondain's form sees him rated the main danger in a race further complicated by the fact that no participant has yet performed on the Fibresand surface.
