Verdict
Emperor's Well has been in good form on turf of late and is taken to continue winning ways on this surface at the main expense of stablemate We'll Meet Again and Somerset West. The last mentioned can race off a 10lb lower mark than when successful at Leicester in June and has to be respected but lack of a previous run on the Fibresand is of concern. Quicks The Word has claims on the pick of his turf form but gave little sign of encouragement on his all-weather debut last week and a bigger threat may come Mister Benji. A course and distance winner 12 months ago, the son of Catrail should strip fitter for a couple of recent outings. He makes more appeal than Extra Cover, who has disappointed of late but has slipped in the weights as a result. We'll Meet Again has not won for some time but is on a fair mark. Preference though is for his stablemate Emperor's Well, who has shown improved form on turf of late and has every chance of completing a hat trick if translating turf form to the Fibresand.
