Verdict
This is not as competitive as it first looked with many out of form runners and Reason is taken to get the better of Revolving World and Elaala. David Chapman's charge has certainly regressed over the years and has dropped from a mark of 90 to a current rating of 46. He has been contesting races over shorter trips and has shown plenty in his last two runs. He could be ready to hit form and if you go back far enough his best efforts have been over this type of trip. Revolving World hit winning form last time out, beating Hits Only Life over twelve furlongs. The trip is unknown territory, but is open to plenty of improvement and cannot easily be ruled out. Elaala is returning from a spell over the jumps and has claims on the pick of her winter all weather form. the best of the rest could be Just Waz, but if Reason can get anywhere near his old form he will take all the beating this evening.
