      Verdict

      This could concern the two powerful southern trainers who are represented by Gongidas and Sign Of The Cross and we will plump for the first named. Jibajaba may be best of the others. Gongidas is a rare Thirsk runner for Godolphin and there was nothing wrong with his victory last time out. He was al little bit green but still managed to get the better of a decent Windsor field. The handicapper has taken no chances but there could be any amount of improvement to come. Sign Of The Cross was a little more impressive when comfortably landing a Nottingham maiden. He should go well off this mark but doesn't have the same scope for improvement as the selection. Jibajaba has now qualified for handicaps following three promising maiden efforts and looks the pick of the two Fahey runners. Tencendur is another with each-way claims, but our idea of the winner is Gongidas.
