Verdict

We end the day with a tough 15 runner sprint handicap and hopefully BONNIE PRINCE BLUE can outgun Wyatt Earp and Bo MCginty. Dandy Nicholls' stable are in good form and this horse should take all the beating. His latest fourth behind New Leyf reads very well in the context of this race and from stall 12 he is ideally positioned to launch a late charge. Wyatt Earp is probably the biggest danger and is drawn nicely in 14 to launch an early attack. He likes to race up with the pace so his draw is ideal. His last run was a bit disappointing but he was used up very early to get to the lead. With Greg Fairly on board, who has a nice judge of pace, he should go close. With the Richard Fahey team in blistering form, rule out Bo McGinty at your peril. He has been a good old servant down through the years but his battling quality's leave a bit to be desired. He also seems better over five furlongs so today's trip may stretch him. Indian Skipper is one to monitor in the betting on what could be a lenient mark of 75.
