In depth

Verdict

Seafield Bogie is anticipated to uphold form with Magnetic Pole in the novice chase. The selection was on top when the pair met 11 days ago and actually won with far more authority than the winning margin suggests. Faster ground appears to hold no fears for him and we confidently anticipate that he can follow up. Magnetic Pole did little wrong in that defeat but his better form appears to have obtained with a little more cut in the ground and he is unlikely to get that here. Alfadora won three on the bounce during the winter and is another with questions to answer on the surface. Magot De Grugy has had a disappointing season thus far while Thedublinpublican is always dangerous if granted a soft lead upfront. Seafield Bogie seems to be a horse very much on the upgrade and the percentage call is to back him to continue in his rich vein of form.
