Verdict
Dropped to this grade for the first time, Cliquey might just be able to get the better of Douceur des Songes in a decidedly modest contest. Cliquey, who won a seven-furlong maiden at Brighton as a three-year-old but then regressed, finished a reasonable third at Worcester last month, and a repetition of that must surely make him competitive. However, Douceur des Songes, officially the best rated in the contest, could well go off as favourite for this in the hands of Tony McCoy. Lord Brex is a shadow of former times but can still be capable at this level, although he looks held by Douceur des Songes on official marks, but Amaraku is hard to fancy on what we have so far seen. It leads us back then to Oliver Sherwood's Cliquey.
