Verdict
Obaki de Grissay is preferred to Matcho Pierji and Sovereign's Joy. Obaki de Grissay put up an encouraging performance last time out and with Henry Daly's runners always likely to come on for the run, we take our chances granted normal improvement. Matcho Pierji finished second at Auteuil for previous connections and is watched for any signs of encouragement in the market. Sovereign's Joy stayed on stoutly over two miles and could be of interest over this longer trip. Beat The Boys ran much better than his price suggested on hurdling debut and stamina appears assured. Shrewd Investor is from a strong family that includes Large Action so there is reason to be watching from a long-term perspective. Obaki De Grissay showed enough on debut to warrant respect and we side with him accordingly.
