          Verdict

          This can go to Ivy Moon, who is just preferred over Espada, who should ensure a true gallop, and Flying Spud, who has claims at the weights and should not be too far away at the finish if he runs up to his best. Lord Chamberlain also has claims on the best of his efforts and he should have the measure of his old rival Espada over this trip. The last named can also do his bit to ensure that the race is set up for a stronger finisher and, with a series of solid efforts in claiming races to his name this season, Ivy Moon can finally regain the winning thread; especially as Alan Daly has seen fit to keep their partnership in tact today after their near miss at Chepstow last month.
