Verdict
A poor race can go to Pacific Ocean, who is unexposed at the trip and makes more appeal then the likes of Tintawn Gold and Puri, who have both been hard to win with this season. The last named does not have as many miles on the clock as a few of these and also comes into the race open to improvement at the trip. However, like Tintawn Gold, he can be a weak finisher and has a few questions to answer regarding his resolution. Therefore, Pacific Ocean, who has hit the frame on numerous occasions in the past, could be the surprise package of a modest contest like this. The Stef Liddiard-trained entire stayed this trip well on the all weather at Wolverhampton at the start of this year and has subsequently gone well in a handful of outings on tuft. The five-year-old posted a good effort over a mile on similar ground here last month and, if Pacific Ocean is in a similar frame of mind today, he can gain the elusive first victory his connections have been craving for with him.
