Verdict

The Pretender is sure to be popular here having his first start for Paul Nicholls, though he only showed modest form in the French provinces. McCoy has chosen Silver Stirrup ahead of stablemates Merry King, My Mate Vinnie and Spoil Me so he's presumably a lot better than he showed at Uttoxeter on Saturday while there may be more to come from Carlisle fifth Henok. Sole Survivor has hinted at ability, as has Roll The Dice, but the one to beat maybe HINDON ROAD who beat recent bumper winner Brave Alliance at Towcester in April on only his second start. He's Flat-bred so should have the speed to see off these more stoutly-bred rivals if his jumping holds up.
