TONIC MELLYSSE didn't do a lot wrong when trying to give weight to Irish raider Kalann over hurdles at Cheltenham last month. He's won twice over timber but is closely related to French chaser Onolyssa so should have no problem with the switch to fences and is fancied to prove too strong for Tatispout, who was a big disappointment when long odds-on over C&D two weeks ago having won easily at Stratford earlier. Tornade D'Estruval is interesting, however, as she'll be all the better for her run in a novice hurdle at Ascot last month and is from the same family as the useful Gris D'Estruval.
