Verdict
In a race where there are question marks about many of the leading contenders, Indiana Blues just gets the vote ahead of Enjoy The Buzz, Fleetwood Bay and Full Pitch. The booking of Richard Hughes catches the eye for Rod Millman's Fleetwood Bay, who is not the most consistent of beasts but is certainly well treated on his very best form. Full Pitch sprang a 50/1 shock on heavy ground here in May, and although he has failed to trouble the judge in three subsequent starts any significant rain would certainly bring him into the reckoning here. Enjoy The Buzz, one of two Milton Bradley-trained horses in the field and the mount of Shane Kelly, seems to be at home on any ground and is only five pounds higher than when winning nicely at Folkestone last month so is another to come into the reckoning, but we just side with Indiana Blues. Andrew Balding has booked Kerrin McEvoy for his filly, one of just three three-year-olds in the field. Third in a big field on similar ground at Chepstow last time, she races off a pound lower mark here and has more scope than the majority of her rivals, so Indiana Blues looks to be the safest bet.
