In depth
Verdict
Geisha Lady, who has progressed with every run so far, is taken to score her first win here, with Polar Dawn a big danger and Captain Margaret and Baddam others to note. Baddam has shown some promise on his two starts to date and should improve, while Captain Margaret stepped up significantly on her debut when fifth at Yarmouth last time. Polar Dawn looked a filly to follow when going down by just a short head on her debut at Salisbury but has failed to progress in two subsequent starts and the one to beat here is surely Geisha Lady. Having showed promise in all three of her maiden starts, she ran with credit when fourth off a mark of 76 in a nursery at Chepstow last time. She was certainly putting in her best work in the closing stages that day, so the step up to seven furlongs and the return to maiden company should be ideal for our selection, Geisha Lady.
