Verdict
Top-weight Turgeonev finally realised his form after leaving the Micky Hammond stable. Stepped up in trip here, he should win a couple this year but he is watched today. Korakor is something of a Jekyll and Hyde character who possess more ability than his form suggests. Reportedly aimed for the Thomas Pink, he will need to win this to book a ticket. Red Striker looked a decent prospect but lost his way at the end of last season. It is interesting that Richard Guest is riding him today but his best form is on a softer surface. A point that similarlyapplies to Goguenard. Duchamp needs to brush up on his fencing to figure here. Il'Athou jumped well to post victories at Ascot and Huntingdon. but one's enthusiasm is tempered by his trainer's recent form. Course specialist, Random Harvest gave little encouragement on his last racecourse appearance. The TEAMtalk selection is Jungli. Paul Webber's charge is arguably better over two miles but he goes well fresh and the handicapper has allocated him a winning mark.
