In depth
Verdict
Corrib Lad can get the better of Dilsaa, with Gospel Song, Mr Bigglesworth and Time Marches On all in with a shout. Tom Greenall is one of the more accomplished amateurs and so he catches the eye on Corrib Lad. Len Lungo's charge patently failed to stay when sent off favourite over three miles at Ayr last time, but had earlier proved his potential when scoring at Carlisle. he looks every inch a chaser in the making, and the drop back to the minimum trip today is very much in his favour. Dilsaa has the assistance of Nina Carberry and will be having his first outing over hurdles since last October when successful on fast ground at Hexham, although he did have a spin on the all-weather at Southwell in February. Conditions are not in his favour today, and he will do well to give weight away to the selection. Gospel Song was successful over the course and distance in January and just four days ago did well to chase home Kid 'Z' Play at Perth. He should be involved in the finish and can make the frame at least, while Mr Bigglesworth and Time Marches On have bits and pieces of form that suggest neither should be left out entirely. For the winner though we side with Corrib Lad.
