English Pale appeared to thrive when stepped up to 1m4f on heavy going at Tipperary and won't have those conditions here. KUBALI made his belated debut at Dundalk last month and it was only inexperience that caught him out or he would have beaten The Tulip. He can go one better, though Monocle is expected to do better this campaign now stepping up in trip. Zilbiyr was behind the selection at Dundalk and has had his chances and Runmhar was a disappointment in the same race though she may improve on this sort of ground. Waarif has plenty of winners in his pedigree and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to get involved.
