Verdict
Gary Moore's Kryssa has been in good form of late but was disappointing when an even money favourite at Epsom last month and looks worth taking on off the same mark which we do with Pella, who is preferred to Princess Galadriel. The selection has a string of good efforts to her name this term, latterly when a close third behind Rock Lobster at Nottingham. The handicapper has not been hard on the daughter of Hector Protector and she is taken to gain an overdue success. Henry Candy's Anna Panna is interesting on her debut in this grade, as is the John Hills-trained Night Frolic, who may be better suited by the return to a faster surface. A market move for Filliemou would be of interest, while it is to be hoped that Elusive Kitty consents to race today. The main danger though looks to be Princess Galadriel. Fairly treated on her best form, the daughter of Magic Ring hails from the in-form stable of John Best and has to be respected but the vote goes to Pella.
