Verdict
This is a very modest affair overall and Plummet, Safirah and Uig look to have it between them, with the vote going to Plummet. The John Gosden-trained selection finished nearly nine lengths ahead of Safirah when the pair were second and fifth behind Deep Purple at Kempton on July 14. We reckon that form will be confirmed but she also finished two-and-a-half lengths behind Uig when the pair were third and fourth behind Motive in May. Three months can be a long time in the life of a young racehorse and, with this in mind, we are going to side with the possibly more progressive Plummet. In truth, there are virtually none of the others that appeal in this race that, in turn, spins us back to the selection, which is Plummet.
