Verdict

Not a strong contest by any stretch of the imagination and this appears a good opportunity for Omaimah to get off the mark. Mick Channon's filly has performed creditably in better company and makes a quick reappearance after finishing a close fourth over course and distance on Saturday night. A reproduction in this much weaker grade should suffice. Spindor is difficult to assess having shown useful form in France but was uneasy in the market before a rather lacklustre display on his British bow over 7f here last month. Jamie Osbourne's charge will be sharper for the outing (his first for over three months) and the drop back in trip won't inconvenience this pacey type so he should pose the main danger ahead of Valuable Gift. The latter has had plenty of chances and is thoroughly exposed but should still be hard to keep out of the frame in a race that lacks strength in depth.
