Competitive but modest fair to start the proceedings on Saturday night. Arachine and Zafarshah met here two weeks ago in a maiden contest with the former coming out on top. Sarabande well behind. Sir Michael Stoute's charge enjoys a pull of four pounds at the weights but with Sir Mark Prescott's runner looking the most open to improvement, he is not taken to reverse form. The Teamtalk vote is given to Derek Morris' Bontadini. A winner of a maiden here in August, he followed up in September with a staying on third in a Southwell handicap. Foronlymo is plenty exposed and steps up in trip tonight. Ashkalani Star has an interesting jockey and while he has been disappointing of late, he does handle the surface and broke his maiden here last year. Any market confidence for Groovejet would be of interest.
