In depth
Verdict
A wide open race in which Mytton's Bell, Mitchelland and Corniche Dancer look to be among the more likely suitors and it is to Alan Bailey's charge that we turn. Mytton's Bell was a consistent type on the turf and with a recent Southwell run under her belt, she should be more than fit enough to do herself justice here. Mitchelland finished second in an above average seller at the track in October and showed that she had potential over this trip rather than the five we had previously seen her over. Corniche Dancer is taking a marked drop in class today following an outing in the mud at Newbury. Mick Channon's team are still landing prizes so there is nothing forlorn about her hopes here. Sam's Secret and Wood Spirit make belated all-weather debuts and are watched in case of any market confidence. Mytton's Bell gets the nod in a race where the market should prove particularly informative.
