Verdict
Cherokee Nation has run well on each of his last two starts and may be capable of getting his head in front here at the main expense of Romany Nights and Hout Bay. The selection was fourth behind Flying Bantam last time over 6 furlongs on this track having previously finished here behind Burley Flame. If he handles this drop in trip then he looks the one to be with. Romany Nights finished last in a Listed race at Doncaster, but back at this more suitable level he is entitled to plenty of respect. Hout Bay is a game and consistent sort and he has had excuses for a couple of recent disappointing efforts. He did not get a clear run last time and was poorly drawn on his previous run, so for an in-form team he should go well. Global Achiever won well last time and looks the best of the rest, but for the winner we return to Cherokee Nation.
