An opportunity for Bid For Fame to shine although Mi Odds will be a stern test. Twelve furlongs is perhaps on the sharp side for Bid For Fame but he is useful enough at this level and he is now with David Nicholls, a trainer well used to getting the best out of others' castoffs. Mi Odds loves it around here and is always respected at this level. He has never won in June during his long career and could need this. El Chapparal has two below par efforts on turf on his card. If he is ever to get twelve furlongs - this will be the place. Ezz Elkheil would be better in if this were a handicap. Atristi won a claimer at Chantilly at long odds and has not shown too much since joining Mick Quinn. Molly's Secret is a regular at this grade. Bid For Fame, with reservations about the trip, secures the vote.
