In depth

Verdict

Lord Of The East can secure a hat-trick although Aintnecessarilyso and Radlett are also in form. Lord Of The East probably finds this trip a bare minimum these days but the way in which he has won at both Wolverhampton and Pontefract suggests that he's in rude health and with the handicapper to put him up a further 4lb in future - connections have had little option but to come here. Aintnecessarilyso has had various excuses in the past but he is very much a player on his recent second at Brighton to Fair Compton. His stable are running well and the market is inspected. Radlett Lady is much improved of late and has been dominating the banded scene at Southwell. This is a step up in grade but she has a nice racing weight and is entitled to take her chance. Compton Micky's best performances are over further while Hellbent will need plenty of luck in running from a poor draw. Lord Of The East holds obvious claims on the book and is taken to score again.
