Verdict
Air Mail has rekindled some of his old enthusiasm for the game of late and he looks worth supporting again here to get the better of Alafzar and Point of Dispute. The selection is in really good heart and he won well when beating Nicholas Nickleby over a mile last time. He is equally effective at this trip and he looks to have a solid chance of getting his head in front again. Alafzar hinted at a return to form when a fair third behind Zariano last time. He would certainly be the one to beat on the pick of his form, so if the market vibes were positive then it could pay to take the hint. Point of Dispute missed the break and was only narrowly beaten by We¿re Stoneybroke last time. He was unlucky that day and with the extra furlong in his favour he should be capable of reversing the placings with that rival this afternoon. Lakota Brave is another worth consideration, but we are happy to stick with Air Mail as our idea of the winner.
