Verdict
Llamadas can defy topweight at the expense of Hugo The Boss, Princeable Lady and Suturia to name but three. Llamadas has quickly done the rounds, having won on his first start for Hedley Haynes at Lingfield in December after being claimed out Steff Liddiard's yard, and this frustrating sort now bids to repeat the feat for Paul Blockley. Maybe the penny has just taken time to drop, and as he remains well treated compared to last year, is worth chancing again for a trainer who does well on the all-weather. Hugo The Boss benefited from a first-time visor and a big drop in grade when successfully switching from Lingfield to Southwell last time. He has a low draw and can make his presence felt along with Princeable Lady who improved markedly when second to Hiamovi on her handicap debut for her new connections over six furlongs here recently. the way she kept on suggests that she will make her presence felt as well. Suturia was third that day and looks held, and for the winner, a cautious vote goes to Llamadas.
