Verdict
King Of The Sand ended a long losing run with facile win at Brighton but seems best at the latter venue while Rail Dancer has a 9lb hike in the weights to contend with bidding for a hat-trick after scoring at Yarmouth. Ebqaa’s earlier success here came over 1m6f but STAR ASCENDING scored over course and distance last time beating Lost History and a below-par Ice Canyon in the process. Raised only 2lb, Jennie Candish’s charge has won off a higher mark here in the past and can go in again. California Lad landed a double at Dundalk early last year but the Irish raider still looks high enough in the weights.
