Verdict

Mums Hope ended last year with a novice win at Kempton and makes her handicap debut along with Kodiac Lass and Maid For Life, who steps back up in distance. Deira Surprise has struggled since scoring over track and trip in December and Winter Light finished last of eight on her return having won a couple of times over shorter distances last year. QUEEN PENN (NAP) found life tough in better company at Nottingham last time but finished a close-up fourth in this grade over today’s trip at Doncaster before that and Richard Fahey’s filly looks the one to side with here. Rux Ruxx will appreciate this return to 7f but Turanga Leela has done all her winning so far over 6f.
