Verdict

An ordinary event and this should go to Max Pride while Golfagent and Commanche Hero rate as the chief dangers. Robin Dicken's charge proved a most progressive performer over fences last term landing three of his five starts. The son of Good Thyne reappears over timber on a most favourable mark and is taken to overcome an eight-month absence. Golfagent was disappointing on the Flat when last seen in action last month but is on the same mark as when a close runner-up at Uttoxeter last month and has obvious claims if reproducing the same level of form. Commanche Hero was another to flop on the Flat recently but had been in winning form over fences previously and can't be ruled out off a fair mark but the percentage call goes to Max Pride.
