Verdict

Not a strong event and Majed is confidently expected to score at the expense of Rodalko and Good Time George. The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding has had more than his fair share of problems but was a very smart hurdler and was highly tried as a chaser when last seen in action. It is to be hoped that he retains enough ability to defy inferior opposition. Rodalko appeared a promising prospect when landing a Ludlow novice event last year but has palpably failed to recapture the same level of form and has plenty to find with the selection on these terms. Good Time George appears a shadow of former glories judged on last season's sole effort so Majed should prove too strong.
