Verdict
Not much form to go on and, as ever in this type of event, the market will provide further clues but Complete Outsider sets a fair standard and is preferred ahead of Sol Chance and Light Des Mulottes. The Nick Williams-trained gelding created a good impression when beating 16 rivals in a similar event at Exeter last month. Proven on fast ground and capable of further improvement, the son of Opera Ghost can overcome a 7lb penalty and holds Pats Future on these terms. Sol Chance displayed some promise on rain-softened ground at Wincanton in February but has been absent since and this Jupiter Island gelding may find conditions a shade lively. The ex-Irish performer Light Des Mulottes showed plenty of ability on his Cork debut last season but flopped next time and now has something to prove despite the booking of Tony McCoy.
