In depth

Verdict

Gaelic Roulette can see off the challenges of Silver Bow and Ballyhoo, with Honey's Gift also expected to be in the shake-up. Gaelic Roulette caught the eye when coming out of the pack to chase home Talarive at Market Rasen in April, and with an extra two furlongs to help, can go one better today. Silver Bow in contrast needed all of Huntingdon's three-and-a-quarter miles to come good and may have to settle for second best this time, while a similar comment applies to Ballyhoo judged by the way that she had to hang on over further at Fontwell. Mind you, trainer Seamus Mullins has his team in good order at present, so he has to be respected. Honey's Gift has the assistance of Tony McCoy so will attract some support as well, but on the bare form has a bit to find, and we are happy to put up Gaelic Roulette as the selection.
