Verdict
A very weak affair here and if you are not in front by now then it will probably pay to save the cash for another day. However, we will side with Henry Daly's Fiery Peace to see off Rebel Raider and Gabla. After a promising debut, the selection was slightly disappointing last time at Uttoxeter when finding little after cruising three out. However, we will take that as a blip for the purposes of this contest, where there are few who make any appeal as alternatives. Over a trip and on ground that suit, he is taken to break the maiden tag. Rebel Raider has been knocking on the door on both starts so far, at both Market Rasen and here. A bit one-paced at the business end, he will find it no easier against the selection here and is likely to be found wanting once again. Gabla was a drifter in the market at Perth on his hurdling debut, but despite that he ran really well to finish third, and with that in mind he looks sure to improve here. Richard Guest knows the time of day and will surely be coming here for at least a place again, so any market moves should be noted. However, with slightly more experience, Fiery Peace is still just preferred.
