        Verdict

        A shocking contest with the top weight Land Of Fantasy rated just 53. A chance is taken with Intricat, who drops into selling company for the first time. He does have a couple of fair efforts to his name (at least fair in the context of this race), and he is certainly at the right end of the handicap to take advantage. Omey Strand is well exposed and it isn't difficult to look beyond him, while Kashmir Sapphire is only interesting because he is the mount of the champion jockey. Northern raider Hebenus is worthy of respect, as he comes from an in-form yard and is a rare runner at the seaside venue for his handler. However, Intricat is the suggestion in a dire contest.
