A competitive affair where BRAVE DECISION, Prince Yarraman and Mnarani are nominally the three that comprise the short-list. The suggestion is to side with Robert Cowell's runner who is having his first run on grass having made the frame twice in five starts on the all-weather. He appreciated the drop in grade to finish a fair third at Lingfield last time and appears to hold every chance in this company on that evidence. Prince Yarraman is, at least, proven on turf having taken third behind Rosedale in a competitive Brighton handicap on his penultimate start and he can probably be judged a little better than the bare form of his midfield finish at Bath suggests as the race didn't really favour those coming from off the pace. Mnarani may be better on the all-weather having made the frame twice in four starts on artificial surfaces having failed to do so in seven starts on turf but he does have claims on his latest performance. Sultan's Choice has more obvious claims than Fasette although support for her would bring her into the picture but we'll opt for Brave Decision.
