LIBRE should be involved in the finish again and may be a large enough price to be backed each-way in a race where Guga, Pedasus and Croeso Cusan are others that come under the microscope. The veteran performer comes here in good form having found only one too good on each of his last two runs at this venue, including over course and distance, and should make the frame again from only a one pound higher mark. Croeso Cusan has something to prove at this trip but was fairly prominent in the market at Southwell at the weekend and it will be interesting to see if the money arrives again; rain would aid her chance. Pedasus threw in the towel fairly early on at Lingfield but has live claims on the form of his penultimate start whilst Dr Newland may be able to eke a little more out of Guga now that that one has recaptured some semblance of form. Fathey isn't certain to see out this trip but does, at least, hail from a yard in form but Libre has relatively solid claims.
