In depth
Verdict
Quantica has solid claims on the pick of his form but that is generally with more cut in the ground and a better bet looks to be Princess Galadriel, who is preferred to Pragmatica. The selection is closely matched with Mugeba on running over course and distance last week but Gay Kelleway's filly has a 6lb penalty to carry for her success that day and she may struggle to confirm form with Princess Galadriel, who is progressing with each outing this term. Dean Ivory's Mister Clinton has slipped to an attractive mark and has to be considered along with Milton Bradley's Oh Boy. City General is more than capable of taking a hand off his current mark, while Warden Warren can never be discounted on a course where he has run well in the past. Pragmatica, who has found just the one too good off her current mark in her last two starts, holds more solid claims but the vote goes to Princess Galadriel, who looks to be going the right way right now.
