        Verdict

        This is a very trappy looking affair and a narrow vote is given to Silver Dane, Millinsky and Bluebok are just two of many dangers. The selection was a course and distance winner back in July when beating Conjecture in a tight finish. He lost no caste in defeat next time at Nottingham in a race that has worked out well and he still looks on a very decent mark. Millinsky has had plenty of chances this season and comes out ahead of the selection on certain form lines. However he is very hard to win with and may have to settle for place money again this afternoon. Bluebok looked on the way back last time and looks the best of the Milton Bradley pair. Holbeck Ghyll can also be given a squeak in a wide open affair, but we return to Silver Dane for our tentative choice.
