Verdict
Big Bad Burt, Red Skelton and Kyle Of Lochalsh form our three against the field in the seller, with the selection being Big Bad Burt. Red Skelton won a seven-furlong Southwell all-weather maiden last October but has been well beaten in three starts since but now drops to selling company for the first time and has to have a chance based on official ratings. Big Bad Burt comes firmly into things based on his fourth to Lady Georgina at Lingfield in May, as has Kyle Of Lochalsh based on his Goodwood win of last summer. With Springalong seeming to have regressed, and the others - including dual all-weather winner Jade Star - having a bit to find on official marks, the wheel spins back to Big Bad Burt, who gets the call.
