In depth

Verdict

Like most of the races on the card, this will not take a great deal of winning and it is hard to get away from Marco Botti's Princess Raya, who ran promisingly on her debut on Kempton's Polytrack last month and she is taken to open her account, getting the verdict ahead of Arrewig Lissome and Path To Glory. The last mentioned has claims on the pick of his form but has had plenty of chances and he is likely to make it 15 runs without a win today. Coco L'Escargot showed limited ability in bumpers but was well held on her flat racing debut and she may do better over further. Hotel Felix has been well held in both starts so far but they have been in better races than this; comments that also apply to Andrew Balding's Arrewig Lissome. Princess Raya has solid claims on the evidence of her Kempton debut and should take all the beating, provided that she handles the cut in the ground.
