Verdict

CELEBRATION DAY’s form on Turf was disappointing last year but he was right back to his best after a lay-off at Chelmsford in March. He’s 5lb higher today but this will be the first time that he’s encountered fast ground and he should be suited. Wapping is a danger given he’s been lightly raced. He won a Bath maiden in 2015 but crept up the weights last year, despite failing to add to that success. Bertie Moon won over 2m here last year so may find this on the short side but he will have benefited from a recent outing on Tapeta. Theydon Grey has the past form to figure while Mohatem is relatively unexposed compared to most.
