Verdict
Comprise was placed at Haydock and Ascot in September and had no trouble landing the odds at Southwell on his reappearance, his first run since being gelded. Etikaal ran in a hot maiden at York after a couple of placed efforts at Kempton in the autumn and should find this easier. Supreme Power makes his debut on Turf but was backed a couple of times on the all-weather last year and could be worth noting when returning to that surface. TRICK OF THE LIGHT was just behind Parys Mountain when favourite at Windsor on his final start last year but was inconvenienced by racing on an unfavoured section of the track - the Nottingham winner is worth another chance.
