        Verdict

        Not too many of these can be given much of a chance and the vote goes to Blue Sky Thinking, who gets the verdict over Yakimov and Muchea. The selection has to give weight away all round but looks up to the task judged by his win at Thirsk last time, form on which he holds Muchea. Yakimov has steadily risen in the weights this term and is now beginning to find life tough in handicaps so has to be respected in this grade. Ile Michel has claims on his best but Lady Herries yard is under a cloud at present and he is difficult to recommend. My Raggedy Man is out of form but well enough treated to take a hand if David Nicholls has got him back to his best. A similar comment applies to Scottish River but Blue Sky Thinking has obvious claims and is taken to give weight and a beating to his rivals.
