        Verdict

        Ryan Moore's decision to hang around at York to ride EPITHET appears significant and we'll take Charlie Appleby's colt to be up to the task. A winner at Newmarket in June, he was sent off at a shade of odds-on for a novice event at Haydock but probably found the softening conditions against him. Kibaar won a maiden at Ffos Las in convincing fashion and the second has gone on to frank the form since. Bahamian Sunrise didn't do a lot wrong at Carlisle on his most recent start and with Richard Fahey providing the winner of last year's contest, it wouldn't be the greatest of surprises to see him go close. Honest Bob's has dotted up in two sellers and he attempts to mix it in better company in order to realise his third career success.
