Goldberg became irate after Paul Heyman mentioned his family on Raw – but had to make do with attacking security and not Survivor Series rival Brock Lesnar

If Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar's plan was to rile Goldberg ahead of WWE Survivor Series, then it worked.

The former WCW powerhouse - whose match with Lesnar on Sunday will be his first in a WWE ring in 12 years - snapped on Raw after one too many comments about his family from Heyman.

What really got the two-time world champion ticking was when Heyman insisted that Lesnar would beat Goldberg so badly at Survivor Series that his son would start calling the Beast Incarnate 'dad'.

Goldberg decimated four of the security guards put in place to keep him and Lesnar apart ahead of their Sunday showdown, live on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492).

Yet, fans were denied any early fisticuffs between Goldberg and Lesnar when the latter opted not to lay a hand on the man he was beaten by in their initial bout at WrestleMania XX in 2004.

WWE Survivor Series will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) from midnight on Sunday, November 20 (Monday morning).

WWE Survivor Series will repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) BUT NOT Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) between 10am on Monday, November 21 and 10pm on Thursday, November 24.

WWE Survivor Series will cost £19.95 for viewers in the United Kingdom and €24.95 for customers in the Republic of Ireland, while a live blog of the event will run on skysports.com and the Sky Sports apps.
