Shaquille O'Neal says a potential match with WWE wrestler Big Show at WrestleMania 33 "is not looking good".

The former basketball star and The World's Largest Athlete clashed at WrestleMania 32 last April and a one-on-one clash at this year's showpiece in Orlando on April 2 has long been rumoured.

However, speaking on his latest podcast, O'Neal said he was doubtful the bout would take place.

"It's not my fault, that's all you need to know," he said: "It's not totally off yet but it's not looking good."

Big Show told WWE.com last week that he believes O'Neal is "terrified" at the prospect of facing him, but the former Orlando Magic centre says he remains up for the powerhouse clash.

"I'm still working out and I still look better than Big Show," he added: "I'll still meet him wherever he wants to meet me."

O'Neal also stated that he would begin twice-a-day training sessions this week and that if he shows up at WrestleMania "it's going down".
