WWE launches United Kingdom division of developmental group NXT

WWE has launched a British division of its developmental brand NXT, to include TV shows, titles and large events.
Triple H and United Kingdom general manager Johnny Saint revealed the news at the first night of the company's double-header at the Royal Albert Hall.
The company will create tag titles and a women's title to sit alongside their current United Kingdom championship - currently held by Pete Dunne - and which will be defended at a run of forthcoming events in Cambridge, Birmingham, Plymouth and Liverpool.
"The UK has an amazing talent base and incredibly passionate fans that are deserving of their own showcase," said Triple H, WWE's executive vice president, talent, live events & creative.
"This is the next step in our ongoing strategy to create localised content and further develop our brand globally."
Dunne made the latest defence of his title on the second night of the company's events at the Royal Albert Hall when he takes on Zack Gibson, who won the United Kingdom tournament on Monday.
Gibson beat Travis Banks in the final of the competition to advance to Tuesday night's match, where he took on Dunne, who has held the title for more than 14 months.
Dunne was in action on Monday night, teaming with Moustache Mountain duo Tyler Bate and Trent Seven to defeat the Undisputed Era trio of Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong.
