The Eiffel Tower was switched from a tourist hotspot to a driving range on Tuesday to allow Thomas Bjorn and Jim Furyk to recreate Ryder Cup history in a special stunt.
The two Ryder Cup captains have been in Paris this week ahead of next year's contest at Le Golf National, where they were both given the chance to tee off from one of the world's most historic landmarks.
Playing from the first floor and facing the Champs de Mars, the two stars both struck shots out towards the Parisian skyline - 41 years on from the legendary Arnold Palmer becoming the first and only other player to do so.
"It was an amazing experience for Jim (Furyk) and me," Bjorn said. "It's going to take a while to sink in. It will stick with you for the rest of your golfing career."
A picture of "The King" and one of Palmer's old Ryder Cup bags stood by the area where shots were being played, with the event part of the year to go celebrations in France this week.
